Murtco has been providing nuclear and radiological facility new construction and maintenance services for over 20 years for plant sites and facilities regulated by the US Department of Energy (DOE) or the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).

Murtco’s experience includes more than two decades of managing construction and service crews providing a wide variety of construction services for DOE facilities. Our expertise includes, but is not limited to, civil, concrete, structural steel, mechanical piping, welding, testing and monitoring, underground utilities, HVAC, and electrical (low and high voltage) systems.

We have gained experience and developed expertise in nuclear process piping and engineered systems that are specific to uranium enrichment and depleted uranium hexafluoride (DUF6) recovery processes. We specialize in fabrication, installation and maintenance of systems containing components of stainless steel, Inconel, Monel, carbon steel, galvanized, Resistoflex plastic lined piping, HDPE materials and high temperature and highly acidic chemical characteristics. Our Project Managers, Superintendents, QA and Safety Managers and field crews are familiar with the requirements related to the radiological controls and associated training utilized for this industry.
