Commitment to Safety

Murtco’s primary objective is to ensure the safety and health of our employees while performing work for our clients. Our goal is to provide safe working conditions and healthy environments for all of our employees. 

Murtco employs trained safety professionals to ensure a safe work environment on all our work sites. Our professionals verify that safety procedures are implemented and followed during the course of the project.  Training is one of the most important factors to preventing accidents and Murtco employees are well trained for every job that we perform. Murtco utilizes regional agencies, such as the Association of General Contractors (AGC) of Western KY to help facilitate training requirements. As a result of our safety commitment, we are recipients of the AGC of Western KY Safety Award for Specialty Contractors and we are proud holders of an excellent safety record.

The Murtco safety program has been approved by United States Enrichment Corporation (USEC), Babcock & Wilcox Conversion Services (BWCS), USEC-American Centrifuge Plant, and LATA Environmental Services of KY, LLC.

The Murtco safety program is highly endorsed and supported by our company president. His support and endorsement are equally shared by the management staff and is translated to our field and jobsite personnel.
